Letterpress Printed Marriage Certificate March 2006
When my good friends Kari and Max got married, our friend Joel officiated the ceremony. He approached me with the idea of creating a marriage certificate for them, and I excitedly set about planning a letterpress printed certificate.
It's rare these days that I do letterpress jobs using handset metal type, but knowing these two would appreciate it (they had recently learned to set type on their own), I simply had to do it — even if in the end, there are only 4 copies of this certificate in existence. Truly a special print for a special occassion.
